  14. -Although I haven't tried this myself, the manual for my USR 28.8 says
  15. -to use the following switch
  16. -
  17. -&N13          (demand 26,400 bps)
  18. -&N14          (demand 28,800 bps)

  20. -I don't see a switch that will allow for either.

  22. &N forces a connect at that speed, hanging up if it cannot be made at that 
  23. speed.  
  24. &U13 and &U14, (26.4 and 28.8 respectively)  set a floor connect speed-- 
  25. i.e., &U13 will force a connect at either 26.4 or 28.8.
